Martin Scearce
Martin Scearce was born in 1969 Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He was introduced to Karate when his father enrolled him into Goju Ryu Karate as a child. He studied Goju Ryu and Wado Ryu for many years under Sensei Don Warner and Sensei Ralph Corvino.
In 1992 Martin’s training excelled when he found the Wing Chun Kung Fu System. He achieved his Black Sash and furthered his training to ultimately achieve his Gold Sash through the teachings of Sifu Chris Hader, a disciple of Grand Master Sunny Tang.
In 2002, Martin was honoured to join his good friend Sifu Mike Desrochers in his journey of the Martial Arts and now volunteers his time to teach what he has learned to those which have come to Neworld Martial Arts Fitness.
Other intructors that Martin has had the honour of training with and that have personally influenced his journey in the Martial Arts are the late Grand Master Moy Yat and the late O’Sensei Richard Kim.
